虎鹤双形拳是洪拳“后五虎”体系中的代表作，因其长短桥结合，手法众多，而被视为“拳种”，习洪拳者大多曾练此套路。此套路既有短桥手的精密善变，亦有长桥手的大开大合、大砍大劈。此套路由洪拳名家黄飞鸿初创，后由其入室弟子林世荣整理成型，在广东珠三角地区及海外华人习武者中流传甚广。

Tiger & Crane Double Form Boxing

Tiger & Crane Double Form Boxing is the representative works in the system of Hong Quan “Post Five-Tiger", and it is regarded as "Quan Zhong" because of its unity of long and short bridge, plenty of various Shou Fa (the motion of the hands). Most of Hong Quan players have ever practiced this Tao Lu( a set or sets of Quan movements) . It not only has accurate and changeable Duan Qiao Shou(short hand movements), also has the Da Kai Da He(big opening and big closing with the exertion of one’s interior stength),Da Kan Da Pi (big chopping and big splitting)of Chang Qiao Shou (long hand movements).This Tao Lu was originally created by Wong Fei Hung-- famous master of Hong Quan  ,then it was collected and organized to shape by his disciple Lin Shirong .It has been widely spreading in Guangdong Pearl River Delta area and overseas Chinese Kung-fu players.
