“千字打”套路是一个直进型的追赶寻中、连续进击的套路。它寓千字的撇、横、竖的手法布局，借助三步起跳连环击打，分别从左、中、右三门斜闪进击，结合弹、 踢、蹬、顶、撞的腿法、膝法和冲、弹、顿、抓、摘、压等手法，在上、中、下三盘马势的布局下，进行中门直进的寻中打法，故名千字打。该套路上下起伏、走闪腾挪、短小精悍，手、腿、膝、肘并用，边化解边进攻，舒展大方、矫健敏捷，富含技击性和观赏性。
