Ma-style taiji exercise is initiated by Mr. Ma Litang basing on the function of Taiji principles. The exercise ingeniously integrates the best part of wushu and Qigong according to the principle of the alteration between taijin Yin and Yang, interaction between action and inaction, and unity of opposites. It draws on the three-inner-harmony of heart, will and force, and the three-external-harmony of hand and foot, elbow and kneel, shoulder and crotch, typical of Xingyi Quan. Hence, this exercise can help you achieve the aim of improving yourself from both inside and outside, and of having a strong body and sound mind. |
